Seneca County EDC Approves License for U.S. Army Training Exercises at Seneca Army Depot

The Seneca County Economic Development Corp. (EDC) is pleased to announce that it has approved a two-year license for the U.S. Army to conduct troop-training exercises at the former Seneca Army Depot, which may start as early as this month. Under the agreement, U.S. Army personnel based at Ft. Drum would use the former Seneca Army Depot facility for a variety of activities to enhance training opportunities for Soldiers.

Seneca County IDA Announces $1.7M Food-Manufacturing Facility in Waterloo

The Seneca Industrial Development Agency (IDA) is pleased to announce Gharana Industries LLC plans to invest more that $1.7 million in a 122,000-square-foot food manufacturing and distribution facility in the former Cadbury Schweppes/RealLemon plant in the Village of Waterloo. The investment is expected to create 33 new jobs within two years.
